Funding for Media Freelancers

Centurion is proud to continue its work alongside The Rory Peck Trust, a UK-based charitable organisation set up to offer crisis assistance to freelance media personnel worldwide, and their families. The Rory Peck Trust allocates funds donated by global media organisations to provide training bursaries to international freelance personnel, enabling them to attend Centurion’s HEFAT® courses.

Application criteria:

• Any freelance media worker worldwide (broadcast or print) who has been working as a freelance for a minimum of 18 months.      

Priority is given to:

• Those whose work habitually takes them into hostile environments.
• Those with confirmed assignments in hostile regions.
• Those with an immediate or urgent need.
