CONDO training requires that personnel are adequately prepared for operational deployments. The training is dependent on a number of factors including the nature and location of the operation, the duration of task and the threat.
As an approved training provider, Centurion offers training courses that fully comply with the MoD’s CONDO requirements under DEFCON 697 (Contractors on Deployed Operations) and DEFSTAN 05-129 (Defence Standard (Processes and Requirements)) including:
• Security and safety awareness training
• First Aid training
• Travel and transport security and safety training
• Legal and contractual awareness training
• Theatre-specific information.
Centurion has a 15-year track record in the provision of specialist environments training (HEFAT®) to international media personnel, aid agencies, NGOs, reconstruction workers, civilian contractors to the military, and military-affiliated personnel. The company is UK Health and Safety Executive approved as a first aid trainer and has achieved BS ISO EN 9001 status, an international mark for quality systems, for our HEFAT® training.
The company is staffed by former Royal Marines instructors, and as such is well positioned to offer CONDO training to civilian employees working alongside the military. In addition, we have a long established track record in the provision of high-quality, practical safety training to civilians deployed to unstable environments worldwide, and are a leading training provider in this field.
Our CONDO training can be adapted to suit the deployment environment, with training adapted geographically, environmentally, risk-specifically or task-specifically.
Following Centurion's CONDO training, personnel will be issued with a theatre-specific and / or deployment-specific Centurion CONDO Training Certificate as proof of training to assist with clients’ CONDO compliance paperwork. CONDO certificates are valid for 1 year.
We offer a 1-day CONDO Refresher Training course for those who need to re-validate their certificates to comply with MoD requirements.
