Safety Equipment

For over a decade Centurion has been advising its clients on issues of safety, and this has naturally progressed to include safety equipment. The military background of Centurion’s advisors and instructors enables us to source equipment designed and used by the military in extreme environments, and assess its capabilities and practical application for civilian use in similar fields.

Centurion has also designed and developed its own safety equipment, for example the Rucksack Stretcher System (RSS) and the Survival / Shelter / Stretcher / Signalling / Sleeping System (5S), both of which are available through this site, by identifying gaps in the market for specialist equipment with multi-use possibilities both for civilian and military applications.

RSS Components A RSS™ Rucksack Stretcher System
The RSS™ looks like a day sack or emergency grab bag. But it is much more. It has the unique ability to wholly unzip to become an emergency stretcher that can be used with or without a specially designed lightweight backboard to support a casualty.

5S as shelter 5S™ Survival / Shelter / Stretcher / Signalling / Sleeping System
5S™ covers all key survival elements. This unique and innovative Survival / Shelter / Stretcher / Signalling / Sleeping System combines multi-survival equipment for professionals, travellers and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.
