Hostile Environments and Emergency First Aid Training Refresher (2 days)

This course is designed for people who have previously completed the full Centurion hostile environments training course (HEFAT®), and before 3 years have elapsed need to return to refresh both their first aid skills and their risk assessment and hostile environments training.

A number of 2-day refresher courses are scheduled in the UK every year. Training concentrates on revising first aid skills and best practices, and updating where necessary on any first aid regulatory procedures.

The course also moves on from the 5-day HEFAT® course to include any new advice, tips and subjects relating to work practices in hostile environments that have become significant since the last course. These are likely to include, for example, equipment updates including the latest personal protective equipment, latest country briefings, personal experiences from the field, etc.

The refresher course brings delegates’ HEFAT® training up-to-date, and allows another opportunity to hone awareness skills. Once completed, the course enables the delegate to retain their HEFAT® certificate for a further 3 years.
