Location
Caribbean, islands in the Caribbean Sea, about one-third of the way from Puerto Rico to Trinidad and Tobago.
You should not become complacent about safety and security. Cases of robbery do occur. Avoid isolated areas, including beaches after dark. Take sensible precautions and be vigilant at all times. Personal security, general travel, navigation, off road driving, building / office security, hot weather injuries, personal hygiene, sanitation / sterilisation, clothing & equipment, emergency first aid, cultures / customs, communications, emergency shelters.

Volcanic with mountainous interiors.
Tropical tempered by constant sea breezes; little seasonal temperature variation; rainy season (May to November).
Hurricanes (June to November).
Dengue fever, hepatitis A, HIV/AIDS, polio, typhoid, yellow fever.
No major issues.
Main roads are generally well maintained but follow winding routes, so careful driving is necessary. Roads are poorly lit. Be aware of livestock in the road and speed bumps that are not well marked.
