Southern Europe, islands in the Mediterranean Sea, south of Sicily.

Crime rate low, although bag snatching, pickpocketing and theft from parked cars occur. Vehicle security, personal security, general travel, navigation, building / office security, hot weather injuries, personal hygiene, sanitation / sterilisation, clothing & equipment, emergency first aid, cultures / customs.

Local water is safe to drink.
Terrain
Mostly low, rocky, flat to dissected plains; many coastal cliffs.
Climate
Mediterranean with mild, rainy winters and hot, dry summers.
