Corporate Services

All organisations comprise a number of important areas of consideration that must interlink in order to create a safe working environment. These can be broadly grouped in three categories: People, Places and Procedures. Each one needs careful consideration when it comes to designing and introducing a successful and workable Health and Safety Policy.

Centurion’s Corporate Safety Division helps Human Resources Managers, Training Managers, Safety Officers and other key staff to assess their company’s main assets and identify the level of threat each faces, offering practical advice and a range of security measures including preparation awareness training, on-site instruction, building security systems and procedures.

We work with companies on a confidential, one-to-one basis to devise workable and affordable safety strategies that enhance their company’s overall safety, particularly in hostile environments, and offer our many years of practical expertise gained from working in volatile regions around the world.

Minimising Risks to Corporate Assets

People 1

People

People are a company’s greatest asset. When sending them to work in volatile regions, employers have a duty of care to ensure that they equip them with all the necessary training and tools to minimise the risk of their exposure to danger. Centurion helps companies’ to assess what training and equipment is necessary for assignments in order to minimise risks to personnel, and assists in its provision and procurement.

Places

Places

In today’s strife-ridden world, buildings – homes or offices – are often seen by terrorists as potential targets for aggression. Centurion can assist clients in identifying the strengths or weaknesses offered by a client’s premises and operations, assessing such factors as location, geography, political or other environment, and make recommendations based on assessments of the protection offered, or the potential success of any threat.

Procedures

Procedures

In all volatile environments, it’s really important to have ready a ‘Plan B’. This is the plan to follow when things go wrong. Centurion can assist clients with assessing their company safety procedures, from pre-departure training and risk assessment planning, to on-site location awareness training, to knowing where help can be obtained in emergencies, and the need for evacuation planning.

Trauma Risk Management

Many of our clients work in areas where they are regularly exposed to events considered outside of the experience of a "normal" life - armed conflicts or other aggression, extreme suffering, or incidents such as kidnappings, bombings, road traffic accidents and fatalities. TRiM is a sensible, post-incident management system that is carried out by individuals who provide a peer group strategy based on Trauma Risk Management.
